One of the key challenges in this project was enabling the client to perform daily file uploads, as well as independent content editing and updates, through a simple, intuitive, and accessible interface.
The existing system did not support these processes effectively: even routine actions such as uploading a new file or updating existing content required technical intervention. This led to ongoing frustration, slowed down workflows, and limited the client’s ability to adapt quickly to changing needs.
In addition, the system lacked the flexibility expected in the Japanese market – a market known for its high standards of control, customization, and refined user experience. The gap between user expectations and the system’s capabilities underscored the need for a comprehensive solution that would restore control to the client and elevate the product to a competitive level in the target market.
Uploading files
Uploading CSV files made the optimization process difficult. For ex: If the user need to update fix/update the source file he had to start the whole process from the beginning.
Limited accessibility
The files are imported once and cannot be reprocessed in full or partial scales.
Market Fit
Inability to connect to an existing marketplace and upload products from it.
Not user-friendly
The users found the process unclear and complicated.
The goal was to SIMPLIFY the process of uploading and editing files for users.
The objective of the project was to optimize the file upload and editing process, ensuring it is fast, simple, and enjoyable for users, all while presenting the information in a user-friendly manner.
Addressing these challenges and limitations would be key to improving the system and providing a more streamlined and effective user experience.

From Problem to Product
Upload files
One of the issues with the system was the lack of a flexible workflow. Since file uploads happen quickly, the process was intended to be fast and accessible from any screen.
We added a circle button at the bottom of the screen that will always be accessible to the user, allowing them to upload files from anywhere. At the same time, the option was provided to connect to different marketplaces and start the process from there.
The file upload process would be through a floating window. One of the reasons for this is to ensure speed and allow the user to simultaneously track the files they have uploaded previously.
Now, the user can upload multiple files and connect to any marketplace (via Api) they want.

Table & Actions
A dynamic, well-structured table equipped with features like topic-based customer tags, label actions, status, filtering capabilities, and automated visual tagging by the system.
The goal was to make the important information easily accessible so that the user could act and quickly scan their products

Edit file
Editing files is now possible, a previously unavailable feature. When modifying a detail, a sidebar opens to keep users aligned with the rest of the file. The navigation tool also allows users to smoothly browse between products while editing, improving the user experience.
